A board certified veterinary ophthalmologist has completed a substantial amount of additional training beyond the four years required to obtain a degree in Veterinary Medicine. This extra training prepares a Veterinary Ophthalmologist in identifying and treating diseases and conditions affecting all structures and aspects of the eye.
